Description
Medical researcher and cardiologist Dr. Ernst von Schwarz will be featured in a live online talk and watch party on "What You Need To Know About Stem Cell Therapy" produced by TEDx Temecula tonight, January 12 at 7:00 pm PST. Registration for the webinar is open to the public at no charge. TEDxTemecula is hosting this online watch party as part of a series to debut six new live talks. The theme for these talks is "Against the Grain." A triple board-certified internist, cardiologist, and heart transplant cardiologist, Dr. Schwarz is currently leading an investigation for stem-cell-based clinical trial studies to develop therapies for treatment of disease and prevention. His knowledge and research illuminate both the promise and the issues of stem-cell therapies. "As a world renowned cardiologist and researcher, I have studied groundbreaking findings in medicine, including stem cell therapy," says Dr. von Schwarz. "Stem cell therapy is considered one of the most promising advances in modern medicine but lacks FDA approval at the current time. However, some providers offer therapies without scientific data or reputation. Early experimental studies, clinical data and our own experiences are presented to demonstrate how stem cells work and what potential patients need to know. Join me in my talk, What You Need to Know About Stem Cell Therapy, and discover why stem cell therapy can propel the future of medicine." The talk will be co-hosted by Dr. von Schwarz and a Q&A session will happen following the talk. In addition to watching the talks, online attendees are invited to discuss ideas presented by each speaker, the event host, and each other, according to TEDx Temecula. Log in to the webinar here.
