Join Reconnecting to Our Waterways (ROW) Pogue's Run Waterway Committee on Sunday, April 30 for a bike train to White River State Park for Kite Day! Arrive at Fletcher Park (1429 E Brookside Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46201) at 10 AM to register and ride at 10:30 AM for a 3.5 mile pedal along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail to White River State Park (801 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204). This event is all-ages and families are encouraged to attend. Bring bike, helmet, water bottle, and kite for a fun-filled Sunday. The Pogue's Run Waterway Committee will also have free paper kites available to decorate and fly while supplies last. Bike racks will be available at the State Park. Riders can expect to return to the starting point at their own leisure. Watch this Eventbrite page for event updates. We encourage you to fill out a liability waiver ahead of the event. Grab a bite to eat from The Garnacha Spot and Sweet Valley Ice Cream. Yard games will also be out for the whole family to enjoy. There will also be a chance to connect with the Irsay Family YMCA at Cityway, the Indianapolis Public Library, and Reconnecting to Our Waterways to learn more about their summer programming.
