PURPOSE Compostable Farm Day exists to strengthen our relationship with local ecosystems. By encouraging people to engage with all five senses—to see an orchard, touch a compost pile, hear ducks chattering, taste freshly picked produce, and speak with growers of all levels—we aim to create an experience for the community that is not only fun, family-friendly, and educational but also promotes a sense of belonging and interconnectedness in our natural world. Free street parking is available, and carpooling is recommended, when possible. While we love dogs, please leave your furbabies at home to protect the farm's animal friends. What to Bring Drop-offs will be available for electronic waste and clothing donations. Visit Homeboy Recycling for a list of accepted e-waste and any associated fees. Clothing must be clean and in good condition. Containers are encouraged if you wish to take home some finished compost. Eco-Friendly Tips Being green is kinda our thing. Disposable products will be available for food and beverages, however we want to limit the waste produced as much as possible. So please feel empowered to bring your own utensils, water bottles, bags, containers, etc!
