The Ojai Blues Fest Returns for 2023 By The Ojai Art Center & Crooked Eye Events We cordially Invite you to join us for our 7th installment of the Ojai Blues Fest at The Art Center on June 3rd 2023. We have assembled another stellar line up of great artists for this years event. Some great Local artists you know and love and some new groups that you may not have heard of. We are pleased to welcome these great artists to the courtyard stage Shawn Jones Shawn Jones is an international touring Roots/Americana/Blues/Rock musician of over 30 years based in Southern California. Shawn tours with his band of "A level" touring/studio musicians as well as having a very dynamic solo show. Shawn performs over 200+ dates a year in the USA, UK, and EU.. Celso Salim & Darryl CariereBrazilian guitarist Celso Salim and Californian harmonica player Darryl Carriere have been collaborating for over two decades and are now working on their first record together. With electric & acoustic tracks and all original compositions the album is set to be released in 2023. Chuck StrongChuck has been scheduled to play the last two Ojai Blues Fests and has for one reason or another been prevented from performing. THIS IS HIS YEAR!!! Chuck is an endless promoter and performer of Blues Music. He has a fantastic lineup of musicians joining him and you are in for a treat. TD Lind & The AviatorsIn the world of the ordinary.. TD Lind is not really visible. He is extraordinary!!! He is one of my favorite performers. He completely immerses himself into every note he plays and sings. A true roots & blues master TD will impress you beyond measure. Smokey & FriendsEstablished in 2013 Smokey & Friends have rocked stages and venues throughout Southern California. Bringing their own style to many popular and well known tunes, as well as writing and producing their own. Ultimately Smokey met Bill Macpherson, an accomplished professor and musician, at a local jam session and the two joined forces to found Smokey & Friends in 2013. Since then, S&F has been playing throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles county providing a refreshing mix of blues, rock, reggae and soul with their own twist of musicality. The Brothers Marshfeaturing Crooked Eye Tommy Marsh & Paddy MarshTommy & Paddy will be providing acoustic music between band sets all day long. Tommy is the founder & HMFIC at the Ojai Blues Fest. 2021 winner of Hollywood Music in Media award & 2022 Jose Music Award for best Blues Group Tommy is your host.
