Co-hosted by the Ismaili Student Network and NYU's Office of Global Awards, this informational session is designed to help first-generation college students learn about undergraduate and post-graduate scholarships. The session will introduce awards for study abroad, graduate study, and international internships -- and discuss how you can become a strong candidate for these opportunities. We will aim to demystify these processes and provide guidance to candidates who may not have otherwise been aware of these opportunities.
This will be a hybrid session facilitated by NYU's Director of Global Awards and will feature a panel of first-generation college students who have applied for awards such as the Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, and Gilman. This presentation will provide a comprehensive understanding of the funding possibilities available through various scholarships and how each program can strengthen a student's professional and personal development.
To attend in person, come to 12 Washington Place, New York, NY 10003. We'll have light refreshments available.
