Join us for our inaugural Ivy 5K Scholarship Run/Walk to be held at Alice Keene Park on Sunday April 30, 2023 at 8:00 am. Registration will start at 7:30am. An Ecumenical service will be held at 7:15 am. This event will be a day of physical fitness, fun, and community engagement. Proceeds from this run/walk will go to support the Addie Gore Scholarship Endowment at Pitt Community College. Addie Gore was a charter members and first president of the Iota Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She was the first African American woman to work as a Pitt County Agricultural extension agent. Feel free to create and walk with a team. Teams must have a minimum of 6 members and will receive $5.00 off their registration fee for each member!!
