Description

PLEASE NOTE: This page is for SINGULAR class registration only. Please use the FULL REGISTRATION link if you intend to attend all classes. The Introduction to Ifa Practice Class Series will offer valuable information for the person trying to figure out where to begin or advance in this spiritual tradition. These workshops will progressively unlock the fundamentals of Ifa, give insight into finding a teacher and/or spiritual community (and what to avoid), and offer practical application through building personal relationships with the Ori, Ancestors, and the Orisa - all strengthening connection with God/Olodumare. Designed intentionally for those who have not become Aborisa (students of Ifa practice), Iya Ifatola (Asia Rainey-Ani) offers this intensive course across four sessions to help community members understand the Ifa spiritual system for the purpose of personal growth, healing, and alignment with the highest self. ABOUT THE FACILITATOR Iya Ifatola Oyagbemi Egbewale Fayemi Akanbi has been a practitioner of Ifa since 2010. She was initiated into the Ifa, Oya, and Egbe priesthoods in Abeokuta, Nigeria. She is part of the Georgia priest leadership team within the international Ile O.I.D.S.I., one of the largest Ifa communities in the world. Iya is also a seasoned educator and lecturer in spirituality, community advocacy, and in arts education. At the intersection of her spiritual work, Iya Ifatola is an accomplished visual artist, published writer, seasoned performer, and CEO of the publishing company Nine Pages Media (since 2005). She is a proud wife, mother, Godmother in the Ifa tradition, and forever an Aborisa (a student of the wisdom of nature). THIS IS REGISTRATION FOR SINGLE CLASS DATES ONLY!! Please look for the link to register for the full course if you wish to attend ALL dates.
