Cost | Free Event Description | During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to utilize mobile devices (tablets and cell phones) to seamlessly create fun and engaging animated films using stop-frame (also called stop-motion) animation.  Feel free to bring props from your classroom to tailor your animation to course content.  In the afternoon, we will explore how stop-frame animation can be integrated into your curriculum in a thoughtful and enriching fashion. Background | Stop-frame animation is animation that is captured one frame at a time, with physical objects that are moved between frames. When you play back the sequence of images rapidly, it creates the illusion of movement. (Stop Motion Studio) Skill Level | Beginner (no previous knowledge expected or needed) Participants will receive resources utilized during the workshop.
