Join the United Way and Meals on Wheels for the next installation of their monthly Lunch and Learn series on Friday, April 14th from 12:30-1:30pm, held in the event space at Meals on Wheels (1411 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster).
This month's guest organization will be A.I.M. to Empower, a nonprofit that exists to renew wholeness through movement, presence, and self-study.
Each month features a themed menu, prepared by Meals on Wheels. April's menu is inspired by eastern Asia, including sesame chicken, white rice with carrots, and snap peas. Check out the menu in the photo below.
The registration deadline is Monday, April 10th.
The Lunch and Learns will be a fundraiser for Meals on Wheels and each month’s guest organization. Tickets cost $20, with proceeds split in thirds: 1/3 to United Way, 1/3 to Meals on Wheels, and 1/3 to the guest organization.
Lunch & Learns bring together nonprofits, businesses, and interested community members to learn about organizations and initiatives from around the county, and to have an opportunity to network over a Friday lunch. Watch highlights from March's conversation in the video below.
