The 2023 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series presents Veronica Lewis with opening group Run Raquel on Friday, April 14 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex. The performance is free. Please bring your chairs and blankets. Food is available from Billy’s Cheesesteaks, Royal Hibachi, and Kona Ice Ocala. Fun field games and activities with the Ocala Recreation and Parks recreation vehicle. Each concert in the series features a local non-profit organization working to create art accessibility in our community; tonight’s featured non-profit is Ocala Civic Theatre. HEADLINING ARTIST: Veronica Lewis Veronica Lewis is a mesmerizing live performer with serious piano chops, soaring vocals, and songs that boogie away your blues. She is a prolific songwriter with Blues progressions who puts a modern spin on the Roots of American Music. She won Blues Artist of the Year 2020, Boston Music Awards, 2020’s Boston Blues Challenge Winner, and 2020’s Best Young Artist, New England Music Hall of Fame. In 2021, Veronica went on tour around the country to promote the release of her new album, “You Ain’t Unlucky,” with Blue Heart Records.
