Columbia Basin College’s Planetarium opened in December 2012 to share the wonder of science, technology and the universe. At the event, we will celebrate the 10th anniversary and renovations of the CPCCo Planetarium at CBC. Speakers will highlight the Planetarium’s role in education, research, and outreach in astronomy, physics, and many other sciences for students of all ages, educators, and community audiences. We will also unveil a new, state-of-the-art 4K laser projector system and announce Central Plateau Cleanup Company as the Planetarium Sponsor and HAPO Community Credit Union as the Learning Lobby Sponsor. Light refreshments will be provided to all guests and we will have a special preview of the new projector system for all dignitaries and guests.
