A group of 8 delegates from Boulder, including our Mayor Aaron Brockett, traveled to Palestine in October 2022 for the first time in almost 4 years. The group visited sites of historic and biblical importance and had many opportunities to engage with Palestinian civil society to learn more about how they serve their community in the face of many challenges. Probably the beyond delicious meals fit for royalty night after night were a highlight for all. There was no member of the trip who did not comment, ’This trip was life-changing, transformative even.’ and many also commented that it was the best trip they’ve ever been on.
