Kokedama is the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss-covered ball of soil. Plants are wrapped with sheet moss, and tied with string or twine. They can hang, or be placed on a plate. Hanging multiple Kokedama creates a "floating garden".
Kim will guide you through how to create your own one of a kind Kokedamas, and how to care for them. Each person will be able to make 1 medium and one small. We will be using a variety of easy to care for house plants.
These beautiful and decorative Kokedama bring an organic and natural touch to houseplants, and will make unique decor for your home. All materials provided.
Kim will bring some of her aged and growing Kokedama to class to show how they age so beautifully.
This is an OUTDOOR class. Face masks optional. Please wear appropriate clothing for getting wet, dirty, and possibly cold.
