Be apart of Broadmoor Community Care! Help us maintain our community by RSVPING today. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own weedwhacker and or lawn mower to assist with lawn care in the gardens. Children are welcome with guardian supervision. Broadmoor Day of Service provides opportunities to give back by cleaning, mulching, planting, and MORE in our community gardens. Meet up location: Broadmoor Arts & Wellness Center Parking lot 3900 General Taylor St, New Orleans, LA 70125 Dates: March 11, 2023 May 6, 2023 September 16, 2023 November 18, 2023 Time: 9 AM - 11 AM Organizer: Natori Green Email Address: [email protected] Attendees are encouraged to wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothing to clean the community. Get outside and join your neighbors for a day of service focused on improving Broadmoor's green infrastructure. Together, we can create a more sustainable future for Broadmoor! We hope you'll join us. Attendees can support the Broadmoor Community Gardens: - Garden Care: Help us maintain safe and beautiful green spaces for all Broadmoorians! We will be cleaning up and weeding our community gardens. Broadmoor Food Forest Garden (3730 Toledano Ave): An community gathering space that features garden beds, tables and seating, and a variety of fruits and vegetables. Broadmoor Food Pantry Garden (2021 S. Dupre St, New Orleans, LA, 70125): This garden produces fresh vegetables and fruit for Broadmoor Food Pantry clients and visitors of this garden who help out. Enjoy free refreshments and water provided by The Broadmoor Improvement Association, meet your neighbors, and care for our community gardens!
