The United States has one of the highest maternal deaths among developed countries. In the US, deaths are significantly high for Black women. Yet, according to the CDC, most maternal deaths in the United States are preventable. The Louisville Coalition for Black Maternal Health aims to promote health equity in Louisville, increase community engagement around Black maternal health and support solutions that reduce poor maternal health outcomes. Let’s work together to improve maternal health outcomes. Come out and bowl for a cause. Donations are going to create a scholarship fund for doula training.
