Sean Anthony Salons welcomes Multi-Media Artist Lenice Colangelo March 20- April 17 with an artist's reception on April 6 , 7-9PM. Come meet the artist. This event is free and open to the public. About Lenice: BOLD, Italic, Surprising: best describe Lenice. She has been a force throughout her life engaging in the arts. After graduating from University of Illinois with a degree in Art and Education and a MA in Drawing/Printmaking, Lenice went on to a very successful and rewarding career of Art Education within the Junior High, High School and Junior College levels. She often presented at state level functions, won the Red Apple Award, and received grants to develop the arts within her school district. Throughout her 30 year teaching career, Lenice was developing her own art, winning awards in curated art shows. While in Illinois she started her own studio where she held art openings. Her latest adventure was moving to Houston where she found a dream come true: a studio of her own in a building full of artists that “speak the same language”! During her year and half at Sawyer Yards she has been in multiple juried shows, has been published in the American Artwork 2023 book while building her base of clients.
