"Know the ways of the ones who take care of you, so that you may take care of them." -Robin Wall Kimmerer During this Herb Walk, everyone will have the opportunity to explore the Arroyo's diverse ecosystem and learn about the native plants that inhabit the beautiful Arroyo Seco. The walk will be led by Andrea Jimenez, a certified California Naturalist and founder of Herb Club LA, and Jaskrit Bhalla, also a ceritified California Naturalist and founder of Inner Garden Wellness. It will be interactive and engaging experience, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share observations, and connect with nature in meaningful ways. At the end of the walk, we will play the concentration handclap game to incorporate play into the event. Our hope for this event is to deepen our appreciation and understanding of the environment we live in. From identifying plants and their role in our environment, to connecting with them, this event is sure to inspire a lifelong love of nature in children of all ages. -- Tickets needed for ages 3 and up. Sliding scale tickets available. Dogs on a leash welcome.

 What to bring: A field notepad to take notes, a pen, some water, and a light snack.
