Worship-Based Prayer by Reaiah CuberoDevelop a more intimate relationship with God through life giving, Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based prayers. Did you want to get involved in ministries or church activities but just didn’t quite know how to do so? Well, we invite you to join us in this workshop because being connected and feeling connected is a natural human desire that most long for, and which our churches must acknowledge and minister to because God created us for community and connection is vital! This workshop will help you: Learn how to develop a connect ministry at church so people feel welcomed, loved, and connected. Learn how to use the RISE (relate-invite-share-embrace) concept in connecting with and ministering to those God brings to your church.Learn how to recognize the gifts and talents of those God brings to your church so you can help link them to ministry opportunities and/or activities. Learn to develop a continuous follow up plan for those God has brought to your church but may have gone astray or missed some services, ministry opportunities, and/or church activities so you can pray for and reach out to them.God created us for community and when people are welcomed, loved, and connected in church, they will feel a sense of belonging, a sense of importance, a sense of identity within the body of the church. Honor one another above yourselves. - Romans 12:10 Nursery: Why it's Important and How to Start One by Erica Jane BusaCaring for and pouring into the little ones in church has an insurmountable value in the Kingdom. In this workshop, we will go over why nursery is an important ministry, how to establish a quality nursery at church, and how to be intentional in your interactions with the young children in your life. Strums4Joy Ukulele Ministry by Verle RamierezGod gives and entrusts to each of us gifts and talents. What we do with our gifts and talents are important in honoring God and in ministering to others. Learn how Strums4Joy started, what is its purpose, why it's important to share with others, and how you too can use your gifts and talents to start a ministry in your church. This workshop will also cover introduction to ukulele playing, learning the basic chords that will allow you to play many songs, finding song sheets and more. We will be learning 1 or 2 easy to play worship songs. Bring a ukulele if you have one. There will be ukuleles available for use on a first come first served basis.
