Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms related to an illness, or are just curious to find out what cold water immersion is all about— This workshop offers something for everyone. The program kicks off with an introduction to the science, physiology, and benefits of Cold Water Immersion, includes a breathing session and an (optional) cold plunge in Lake Geneva. At the end there is ample room for reflection, and the Instructor is there to answer questions throughout the workshop. You are also invited to join us for a group dinner- PLEASE RSVP FOR THE AFTER DINNER AT CHECKOUT If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you practice by finishing your morning showers with COLD water in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm. This is optional but a great opportunity to start to prepare and add a new experience in for yourself. Who is this workshop for? This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, if you suffer from Raynards type 2, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting cold water immersion. A wavier and health certificate form will be provided for you to sign on the day. What to bring? An open mind, Towel, Swimwear, Flip flops, Water bottle, Note pad (optional), Warm clothing, Blanket for breath work (optional), snack (optional) Looking forward to seeing you there!
