Ammonoosuc River Cleanup Day - In Memory of Schuyler Sweet

The 2nd annual Trout Unlimited River Cleanup is hosted by The Ammonoosuc Chapter of Trout Unlimited in partnership with Casella Waste Systems will be based at Littleton's Rail Trail Village. There will be age and ability appropriate cleanup tasks and fun for kids and families along with a BBQ to end the cleanup. The 2023 Ammonoosuc River Clean-Up Day will be held from 9am - 12pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023. The event will focus on litter pick up in designated areas along the shores of the Ammonoosuc River and adjacent rail trail. Volunteers are encouraged to create a team of family, friends, neighbors or colleagues. The goal of this event is to involve the community in the preservation and protection of the Ammonoosuc River and surrounding shore lands. There is no cost for this event, though donations are accepted and appreciated. All donations will go to The Ammonoosuc Chapter of Trout Unlimited, a registered 501c3 non-profit. All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
