Join the Central Texas Mycological Society to learn about what people are calling the “earth’s internet” or the “wood-wide-web”, the invisible, underground network that connects most plants and distributes water and nutrients. In this program, learn the basics of mycology and learn how the fungi kingdom is entangled in all parts of our life. We will also cover some basics in mushroom identification and see photos of mushrooms that grow in Texas. Registration required. Age 18+
