Alpha House is a family shelter that supports families facing homelessness by providing them with a place to stay, helps them to find permanent housing, and then continues to support them as they work to rebuild their lives for up to a year. https://www.alphahouse-ihn.org/ Born in Budapest, Hungary, Laz and his twin brother, San, emigrated with their parents after the 1956 Revolution and lived in Israel for three years before moving to the United States. Laz plays violin, guitar, pennywhistle, mandolin, and harmonica. Along with San, he is one half of longtime folk duo, Gemini. Laz performs solo tonight, offering upbeat, life affirming music. geminichildrensmusic.com Katie sings traditional and contemporary folk, country-folk, and folk-pop tunes. A deft interpreter of beloved songs, her captivating voice and velvety-smooth delivery bring new life to the compositions of writers such as John Prine, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Michael Nesmith and Lennon and McCartney.
