TO PARTICPATE YOU MUST BE IN THE 6TH TO 12TH GRADE!!! If you are an adult interested in volunteering or sponsorship opportunities please call 561-215-6102. From the creators of the National Poetry Festival and the City of Riviera Beach Parks and Recreation, we are excited to announce this year will be focused on the Youth in our community. This is a free community based event for 6th-12th grade students. Where our objective is to empower and motivate the youth through spoken word and creative writing. To encourage and elevate students with their development with memorization techniques, stage performances, public speaking skills, and to introduce various writing devices while promoting a positive mental health outlet. Not only is this event free, but thanks to Levenger and our other corporate sponsors there will be some amazing giveaways. And just added Rohi's Readery will be awarding one lucky winner a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice! Itinerary: 9-10am Registration and Gift bags distributed 10am Opening words 10:30 session one 11:15 session two 12:00 Lunch provided and entertainment from Tik Tok sensation and nonprofit Digital Vibez 1:00 session three 2:00 close out with keynote speaker American's Got Talent Winner Poet Brandon Leake and small poetry showcase of selected students.
