Citizens, elected officials, and community planners and leaders from Flagler Beach, Bunnell, Palm Coast, and Flagler County government will learn about the major provisions of the Live Local Act, signed by Governor DeSantis on March 29, 2023 and what it could mean for citizens as local governments work to incentivize housing that is affordably priced for their general citizens and workforce. Residents in all municipalities and unincorporated areas of Flagler County will have the opportunity to convene in round-table discussions with public officials involved in economic development, the building industry, Flagler County Schools, housing agencies, lending agencies and real estate professions and more to consider the provisions of the Live Local Act and to provide input toward defining the top two to three priorities for our local communities in Flagler County going forward. Florida Housing Coalition is the state-appointed technical advisor to local governments on housing-related issues and will provide the presentation on the Live Local Act of 2023. This event will be hosted by Flagler County Housing Services with the assistance of the joint Flagler County-City of Palm Coast Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and the Florida Housing Coalition.
