Prince George's Community College, Center For Performing Arts,Largo MD 20774
29 April, 2023
Description
This is Prince George's County's first annual Returning Citizens Summit, Creating A Culture, where we will have a series of conversations and workshops on what the transition from incarceration to back home really is for our population.
In partnership with Prince George's Community College, this summit is where we will introduce our new ecosystem of support from the Returning Citizens Affairs Division (RCAD), that is dedicated for our Prince Georges County Returning Citizens, to serve for years to come.
The goal for the event is to have experts provide their viewpoint, experience, scope of services, and resources that will help our office focus on reducing recidivism and improve public safety by ensuring that our returning citizens have access to the necessary resources, support, and opportunities. We have Wallo267 as the MC; Co-Host Autumn Joi and Joe Clair, Guest Speaker Topeka Sam, and Keynote speaker Marcus Bullock. There will be a host of subjects with a forum and panel to address the barriers when coming back home to Prince George’s County
