Join us for this in-depth class as instructor Kevin Ylvisaker AIFD guides you through effective ways to create a big impact through detailing techniques to add value to retail designs and give you those valuable points for state and national accreditation. He’ll cover leaf manipulation, labor saving tips and subtle accessorizing using unconventional materials for an artistic effect that will add perceived value to increase profits and refine your design skills This class is open to all floral designers and is best suited for intermediate to advanced levels. It is on location at the Smither’s Oasis corporate offices with a tour of the manufacturing facilities and learn about the research and development process. Instructed by: Kevin Ylvisaker AIFD, PFCI, CAFASkill level: This class is best suited to designers with intermediate to advanced skill level HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: We have a small group block of hotel rooms available at the Kent State University Hotel at a reduced rate of $139 per night (plus applicable taxes).
