About our Keynotes: Melanie Petschke is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a passion for disease prevention. She has spent the last decade studying the emerging research surrounding the potential health implications of environmental toxin exposure. She feels quality nutrition, exercise, and other proactive preventative behaviors are important to health, but ultimately living a lifestyle that reduces the cumulative toxic burden to the body is a critical component. Kelly Kreusler has always been passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. After experiencing cancer in her family, she began to take a closer look at the toxins in her environment and was horrified by the potentially harmful ingredients she found in her daily beauty routine. She began looking for safer cosmetic options only to be disappointed by their performance and frustrated by misleading marketing. Kelly believes women deserve quality products that perform, without compromising their health. Kelly & Melanie will share how following their purpose has created a meaningful movement and community that has transformed their lives. You will learn about cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, and how individuals are being treated today with this chronic disease. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care. Joy McAdams’ passion is to help healthcare practices thrive, not just survive. Her career started 23 yrs ago working for NBC television. Its was this first job, that introduced her to a wide variety of industries. It also grew her love for video communication. She quickly was drawn to the healthcare industry and saw its need for growth in marketing. Along the way the social media world quickly became a key part of communication. Joy not only understands social media, but leads in this field. She is a LinkedIn Influencer that has built a community of over 250,000 followers and reaches 2 million viewers per month. She has spent the last 12 yrs teaching medical practices how to grow their practice through relationship building in the medical community and social media content.
