Description
Learn the basics of screen printing and how to screen print color photographs! We will discuss how to expose screens, prep a photograph to be divided into its CMYK layers, and register our paper so that these layers realign. We will then print these four layers in succession so that you have a CMYK print of Cherry Blossoms to take home with you!
No need to bring any supplies with you, just bring yourself!

Beth is an alum of the Corcoran College of Art + Design, and has been printing in Washington, DC for over 15 years. She specializes in non-linear screen printing, which focuses more on experimentation and manipulating the surface of the print to create varied editions, rather than executing a replicable design. Beth shares her knowledge and love of printing by creating collaborative prints with other artists and inviting people to join her in making their own designs.
