Earth Day Celebration: Yoga + Community Gardening

We invite you to celebrate Earth Day by volunteering your time in our local community gardens, paired with a yoga session to warm up and unwind the body! We'll start the morning by greeting the sun that nourishes our gardens with some Sun Salutations and gentle warm-up stretches. Preparing to spend about 45 minutes or so in service to our community; we may be loading up and spreading some mulch, and beautifying the space during this time. Afterwards ,you'll be led in an all-levels yoga class by Dawnbee of Sweet Rain Healing. Postures will be dedicated to releasing tension and giving yourself the gift of movement. After all, each of us is an extension of our Mother Earth, and you deserve to be celebrated too. This is a free event to attend, with donations appreciated but not expected for yoga class. LEAP is a nonprofit organization based in Roanoke, that supports farmers and fresh, local food for all. Sweet Rain Healing is a small business dedicated to healing and wellness, with a focus on decolonization and anti-racism.
