The Paige Burris Portrait 40 Over 40 Photography Experience has been designed to recognize and celebrate the beauty and power of aging women. Unlike society that tries to tell us we are less valuable as we age, I believe we are MORE valuable as we age, due to all the life experience and good we've put into the world by this time! This movement's mission is to show you your beauty, value and worth, and to remind you that you still have all those hopes and dreams you always had inside you, and now it's YOUR TIME to go for them! If you've ever wanted to be pampered and treated as a celebrity for a day, this is the photography experience for you! You'll see yourself as others see you....beautiful just as you are right now! The purpose of this gala is to celebrate ALL women as we age, and elevate the meaningfulness and purpose women have as we continue to mature. I hope that you'll come out to celebrate with us, and to congratulate all the women who participated, and to see their beautiful portraits on the walls! BRING A FRIEND, BRING YOUR SPOUSE, BRING SOMEONE WHO WILL APPRECIATE WHAT THIS MEANT TO YOU! We have partnered with the organization Dress for Success, Raleigh chapter, who has generously offered for us to hold our gala at their new facility off of Capital Blvd! I love this organization, as they are also women's empowerment-focused, and they help out another group of women in our community that are struggling to acquire good jobs that will cover their basic living expenses and support them and their children. Dress for Success offers coaching designed to help these ladies present themselves professionally in interviews, including gifting them professional attire, head to toe, to wear to these interviews, giving them a big boost in helping their chances of actually getting a good paying job that will help them survive! We will be presenting a check to their org at the gala, you won't want to miss that! <3 You'll have the opportunity to join the 40 Over 40 movement at a special price if you sign up at the gala, and I'll look so forward to creating gorgeous portraits of you for you and your family to enjoy going forward in the next big chapter of your life!
