CORRAL Riding Academy hosts a once-a-month event to share our social justice mission and engage new volunteers in this important ongoing work. This month, we are excited to invite the community to the ribbon-cutting of our new Raleigh campus!
CORRAL Riding Academy is a faith-motivated nonprofit that serves adolescent girls in high-risk situations through a long-term, holistic program of equine therapy and education. CORRAL equips each girl and her community with the skills, resources, and opportunities to gain access to a bright future.
At the event, you will receive a guided tour of our facilities and learn about CORRAL’s history and the volunteer opportunities available. We will then spend some time completing hands-on projects to support the launch of our new farm. We will have delicious menu options for purchase from local food truck vendors: Big Sean's Pit Stop & Yagg Sii Tenn African Cuisine.
What to wear/bring: If you plan to volunteer with us, please come dressed in closed-toe farm shoes/boots. We also encourage you to bring work gloves and a water bottle.
Bring the Family: This is the perfect event to share with your friends and family! Teens are welcome and we are happy to sign off on their community service sheets for high school. Please include only adults 18+ older on this registration form.
Groups are welcome: We are happy to accommodate larger groups, however, registration is handled differently. Email your group registration to [email protected] with 1) the leader's contact information, 2) the approximate number of people in your group 3) the date you would like to bring your group to the farm.
