Internal Affairs Update This one day Internal Affairs Update Course is designed to update the experienced Internal Affairs investigator regarding new amendments to law and procedures along with discussing current case studies and tactics for internal affairs investigations of a more complex and challenging nature not encountered in any basic course. TOPICS COVERED: The Philosophy And Techniques Of Internal AffairsNew Laws and POBR IssuesRecent Appeals Cases and the Challenges to the Internal Affairs InvestigatorPotential Critical Issues regarding the Agency Responsibilities Concerning Domestic Violence and Officer Involved Shooting Cases. Students will participate in analysis discussions regarding current difficult cases. POST Plan IV  - 7290-32104 STC - 0887-042190 Refund Policy: D-Prep, Inc. will refund 50% of the tuition fee (or charge a 50% cancellation fee) up to 10 days before the beginning of the course. There are no refunds or credits given for cancellations if made less than 10 days prior to the start date of the class or for classes not attended. A 50% or 100% cancellation charge, based on the above deadlines, will be due if the tuition has not yet been paid.
