Join The Independence Fund and the Village of Marvin for a Wounded Heroes Day kick off event on Sunday, April 23rd. The third annual Wounded Heroes Day, in honor of Sgt. Michael Verardo and all of North Carolina's wounded Veterans, is Monday, April 24th. Ahead of the recognition of this special day, The Independence Fund will hold a dedication ceremony at Marvin's new Village Hall. Thank you for choosing to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation's bravest heroes.
