Join us at your alumni home to celebrate your achievements and network and connect with other Gamecock Veterans, and ROTC cadets. Students graduating with undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees are invited to attend. Since 2016, the mission of the Veterans Alumni Council (VAC) is to unite and organize Veteran Alumni of the University, current student veterans and friends into a welded community to pursue the following causes: 1) Build camaraderie within the greater Gamecock Veteran network by promoting active membership within the Association through involvement with VAC sponsored events; 2) Recognition of Gamecock Veterans, supporters and associates through academic scholarships and awards to promote and encourage educational interests at the University; 3) Connect Gamecock Veterans with local and national veteran service organization partners to facilitate community service and fellowship opportunities; 4) Establish a unified voice for Veteran Alumni to advocate for student veterans at the University. As we celebrate our graduating student veteran community join us at your alumni home to celebrate this accomplishment, network and connect with other Gamecock Veterans. Students graduating with undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees are invited to attend. Parking spots in the adjoining Park Street Garage are subject to availability and are not guaranteed by the Alumni Center. The garage is managed by the City of Columbia who charges hourly rates for parking.
