The Union City Society for Historic Preservation will be hosting a cemetery workshop that features six types or repair: cleaning, leveling, tablet reset, epoxy, multi stone reset, and tripod work to reset a military headstone. Instructors include Andrew Noland from Silent Cities Restoration, as well as Bobbie Mathis from the Union City Society for Historic Preservation. Attendees will have break at noon to get lunch on their own at any of our local eateries. We have a Subway, Broadway Bar and Grill, Five Star Pizza, and Union Station all close by. All supplies and materials will be provided, but are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and comfortable clothes and shoes. Bug spray is also encouraged.
