The Fundraising Goal of $15,000 sends 30 kids to Camp Hope 2023 Tulsa’s Family Safety Center hosts a summer adventure for children ages 7-16 who otherwise would never have a chance to create these types of fond memories. CAMP HOPE Oklahoma is unique because they serve children who have been emotionally or physically harmed by family violence, child abuse, sexual assault, or stalking. For one week during the summer, they get to experience the normalcy of childhood while being cared for by trained staff and volunteers who know how to help children in trauma. The mission of CAMP HOPE is to give these kids their childhood back for a week and then help them and their families find a pathway to HOPE after camp is over. On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, we are hosting “A VOICE FOR HOPE” Movie Showing and Fundraiser at the nostalgic Circle Cinema. This important time together will be informative and interactive. Guests will view the documentary “Sin by Silence,” followed by an expert panel to increase awareness of the impact of domestic violence on children.
