Reach the Beach - Sauvie Island Kick-off Ride

Join us for a fun-filled morning bike ride on Sunday, April 16th as we check out the new start location for this year’s Reach the Beach. The ride will begin at 9:00am and follow a scenic 12-mile loop around Sauvie Island. Please arrive between 8-8:30am for important instructions and a rider safety review led by Ann Morrow of Portland Bicycling Club. Riders will have the option to complete the loop up to two times. This event is free and open to the public, and all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the Lung Association’s upcoming Reach the Beach event on May 20th and the Astoria Adventure Ride, designed for families and novice riders along the Astoria Riverwalk. Snacks and beverages will be waiting for you after the ride. While you’re there, feel free to say hi to the adorable baby goats at Topaz Farm!
