Invest in Our Planet This theme is designed to persuade businesses, governments, and citizens around the world of the need to invest in our planet to improve our environment and give our descendants a better and safer future. Earth is the only planet in our solar system that sustains life, so it’s important to save Earth. It’s important that people use the Earth’s resources judiciously to avoid depletion of Earth’s resources. Each year, thousands of Onondaga County residents pick a day, time and location to clean. Each step adds up to a big difference. This year we are looking to gather as a community and do our part TOGETHER. Where: 1413 Milton Ave Solvay, NY under "The Green Awning" When: 2pm - Clean Up Starts at 2:15pm Clean-Up Route: Freeman Ave down Milton Ave to Erie Blvd W. Additional Street will be Charles Ave to Chemung St. Included: Gloves, Bags, Vests, Trash Grabbers (limited) After Clean-Up: Gather bags, wash up, snacks & refreshments. Volunteers receive gifts.
