Our precious Peace Garden is showing signs of waking up from its long winter slumber. The snowdrop has courageously risen “Above the earth’s snow tomb”. This sighting has me looking forward to warmer days frolicking in the garden with our community of beautiful beings, both seen and unseen. Please mark your calendars and join me for our annual Peace Garden Spring Clean-Up Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with each other and give thanks to this sacred sanctuary that provides a myriad of opportunities for connection and vibrancy in our lovely town of Carbondale. Please meet at the Fire Circle to greet everyone. We will provide the gardening tools. Please dress comfortably for the weather conditions, and bring your own sun protection, water, and gloves. Close-toed shoes and long pants are strongly encouraged.
