Tyler Area Alliance of Black School Educators (TAABSE) is a local affiliate of the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE). Our affiliate covers Tyler, Longview, Marshall, and surrounding areas. Tyler Area Alliance of Black School Educators is hosting our 3rd Annual Yellow Rose Gala. Our theme this year is Our Guiding Lights in Education where we will recognize School Counselors and Curriculum and Instructional Support personnel. TAABSE is an organization of Educators and those who support education working with kindergarten through twelfth grade students to enhance their academic performance in pursuit to becoming productive citizens. Another recognition at our Educators’ Gala will be the selection of two graduating high school seniors with a scholarship award of $500 each. This a semi-formal event.
