Talk Derby To Me - Best BetsSaddle up for Kentucky Derby 149 by preparing for the races at the Galt House Hotel. Three legendary professional horse racing handicappers are joining us to do a deep dive analysis of all the 2023 Kentucky Derby and Oaks racehorses. They will also explore the best bets for all of the other races taking place on Derby weekend. Handicappers include Peter Fornatale, Jonathon Kinchen, and Maggie Wolfendale. Proceeds will go to Thoroughbred Charities of America. Thursday, May 4th from 7pm - 9pm in the Willis Clements room Located on the second floor of the East Tower of the Galt House Hotel. Your ticket includes admission into the event as well as food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverage. Peter Thomas Fornatale is a respected voice within the world of racing with established credentials as a handicapper and an expert on tournament play. In addition to a 2021 Eclipse Award, he has written four books on racing and is the US correspondent for Sky Sports Racing and attheraces.com Jonathon Kinchen is a former handicapping champion and current horseplayer advocate who finished second in the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge in 2020 & 2021, netting over $600,000. He's a member of the Fox Sports NYRA broadcast team and has appeared on NBC's coverage of the Kentucky Derby. Maggie Wolfendale-Morley Maggie Wolfendale-Morley is a third-generation horsewoman who grew up in the world of horse racing. Upon graduating from Towson University with a degree in public relations and broadcasting, she worked as an on-air analyst for the Maryland Jockey Club, Colonial Downs, and in her current role at the New York Racing Association, where she has been for over 12 years. Maggie currently serves as a host, analyst, and reporter for the NYRA produced show “America’s Day at the Races” and “Saratoga Live” for Fox Sports. She also stays very hands on with the horses having served as an exercise rider and assistant for her husband Tom Morley, and has retired and retrained several of her father’s and husband’s former runners. Currently she is working with multiple stakes winning Louisiana-bred, Ninety One Assault. Maggie serves on the board of the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation and the Belmont Child Care Association. And last but certainly not least, she is mother to Grace (6) and Willow (3).
