Prior to joining St. David's, Barclay served in several leadership positions, including chief operating officer of Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, and administrator and chief operating officer of Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. Other leadership positions include chief administrative officer at Bay Area Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas, and, chief operating officer of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, West Virginia. He began his healthcare career as an administrative resident at Medical Center of Lewisville, an HCA facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Barclay is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Arkansas State University and a master's degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Barclay currently serves as a board member for the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Round Rock Rotary Club.
