Our 4 hour women's retreat, for women ages18 and up, is the perfect way to soak up beautiful weather and celebrate spring! Join us for the afternoon and enjoy the following activities: : *45 minute opening yoga session in the barn with all of our llamas and alpacas (led by Cherity Cook, trauma informed yoga instructor). * Light snacks and drinks *Time to get creative! All participants will create their own fairy gardens! *Get ready for pictures and kisses! All of our participants will get to spend time **individually** in the barn for a private meet and greet with our llamas and alpacas (led by Carol Kaase) *45 minute closing yoga session with Cherity Cook in our event space. What to know: Our retreat leaders are dedicated to making everyone feel welcomed and engaged so whether you are attending solo or are bringing a friend, you will fit right in here! Fairy Garden supplies will include one large planter, flowers, fairies or nomes, and accessories! If you would like to bring your own flowers or a special planter, feel free! Otherwise, we will have all of the supplies for you! What to bring: Yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and shoes you can get dirty. There is a place to change in the event space, so feel free to pack an extra outfit. If you don’t have a yoga mat, let us know in advance, and we will accommodate you Cherity Cook is a trauma informed yoga instructor. She teaches with an eye towards emotional healing and creating space for all types of bodies in practice. She believes strongly in holding space for intuitive learning and growth both within and outside of the studio. Cherity completed 200 hour teacher training with Tamo Mitcchell at Om on the River in May 2022 and received her Trauma-Informed Certification in July 2022 with Soulside Healing Arts. Cherity lives on a farm in Central, Illinois. She is mama to horses, llamas, alpacas, chickens, pigs, dogs and cats. She and her husband own Timberview Ranch and Retreat and have enjoyed living the farm life throughout the past year. Carol is human mama to llamas, alpacas, cats and a dog. She strongly believes in empowering women and creating a space that allows people to truly love and enjoy themselves.
