Our inaugural African American Conference, Release the Silence: Reducing Memory Health Disparities with Awareness, Education, and Resources, will navigate topics such as: the Alzheimer's and dementia journey, managing the caregiving role and navigating life with a diagnosis.
The conference will be taking place in Chicago and we will be livestreaming the event at AgeLinc in Springfield, IL. Local experts will also come to host in-person conversations with attendees and boxed lunch will be provided.
This program is designed for those who are caregivers of a person with Alzheimer's, individuals who want to learn more about the disease, and health professionals wanting to learn about health disparities which affect individuals in the African American community.
