Fellowship with His Holiness Swami VidyadhishanandaJoin us for an opportunity to be in the saintly presence of His Holiness Swami Vidyadhishananda at our in-person commemoration of the auspicious day of axaya-tritiyā honouring and celebrating Self Enquiry Life Fellowship’s Foundation Day. His Holiness will join us following the morning Livestream for an in-person fellowship of divine blessings, words of wisdom, Sanskrit chanting and a peace walk at the beach. This annual commemoration is a time for us to reflect on the Nonprofit’s impact and vision for the future, and to honour and share our appreciation for each of us – aspirants, servers, and devotees. Guests for this in-person fellowship are expected to have participated during the morning livestream. This is a rare opportunity for an up-close experience with an erudite saint who hails from lineages of the combined heritage of Vedic rishi sages and nath meditation adepts from Himalaya. Program Summary6:15 pm – Arrive and settle in 6:30 pm – Fellowship with His Holiness 7:00 pm – Snack Prasāda 7:30 pm – Drive to beachside for contemplative peace walk 8:45 pm – Conclusion of fellowship Axayā-tritiya Foundation DayAxaya-tritiyā, which translates as the ‘imperishable third’ falls on the third day of the ascending moon during the soli-lunar month of Vaisakha. The day is celebrated as the birthdays of supreme personality Lord Parashurāma and Sukrāchārya (Lord Venus). This day is even more significant to those who are interested in Jyotiṣa (science of light and celestial bodies) as the day when great sage Bhrigu rishi completed his compendium on Jyotiṣa known as Bhrigu-samhitā. Every noble act on this day is said to be at least tripled in results and traditionally this day has been revered as one with immortal virtuosity. A closer look at the divine legacy of axaya-tritiyā reveals to us that all three events ascribed to this day are related to sage Bhrigu. While Venus (the ruling Lord of planet Venus) is hailed to be the son of sage Bhrigu, Lord Parashurāma also descended in the familial lineage of sage Bhrigu. In the spiritual philosophy classic of Bhagavad-Gitā, Lord Krishna declares that among the sages he is Bhrigu, as it were, thus conferring the highest seer status on sage Bhrigu. Hansavedas curriculum (gurukulum) as per the monastic mission (Maṭha) was founded on this auspicious day of the year to render the wisdom teachings immortalized. This was effected as per the guidance by Lord Parashurāma who is the erstwhile satguru of the spiritual founder of Self Enquiry Life Fellowship, HH Swami Vidyadhishananda. Furthermore, HH Swami Vidyadhishananda was born in the tutelage of Sage Bhrigu Rishi and thus hails from Bhrigu-gotra (lineage connected to a rishi sage). His Holiness had received specific directives when he was revealed the details of the Hansavedas mission through the discourse of sage Bhrigu rishi to His son Lord Venus. Helpful Tips for AttendeesAttending a Fellowship with a traditional monk and a living saint may be a new experience. Below are a few helpful guidelines about what to expect. • Arrive early to check-in and get situated before His Holiness is seated. • Your presence creates a holy space and not just a social gathering. Maintain reverential silence when possible in order to foster a meditative environment. If speaking is needed, speak quietly. • Floor seating is available as is the tradition of a Fellowship. You may bring a small cushion if you would like. Limited chair seating will also be available. • Wear modest attire befitting the spiritual ambience. • Bring a jacket and warm clothing for the peace walk by the beach Cooperative Responsibility for WellnessWe are committed to the health and wellness of the community and as such we are sharing some gentle guidelines and precautions to ensure that all feel comfortable in the fellowship space. • If you are feeling unwell (even if you tested negative for covid), please refrain from attending. This includes feeling fatigue or having a runny nose, coughing, sore throat and/or fever. • If you know that you were exposed to someone with covid, but are not yet exhibiting symptoms, please email us at [email protected] before joining. • Feel free to take an at-home COVID test (BINAX kit is reliable) within 24 hours of the fellowship. • Follow basic infection prevention and control practices by regularly washing hands with soap and water or with an essential oil, and by covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your inner elbow. • We will keep windows/doors open whenever possible. Cancellation & Refund Policy – In-Person EventRegistration Cancellation In order to receive a refund, please notify Self Enquiry Life Fellowship’s main office either by email at [email protected] or by phone at 909-543-6003. No refunds or credits toward registration amount will be offered if you cancel within 3 days of the start date of the event, if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early for any reason. Registration Amount Refunds Full refunds are available if your cancellation request is received at least 3 days prior to the event start date. No refunds or credits toward registration amount will be offered if you cancel within 2 days of the start date of the event, if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early for any reason. Cancellation by the Organizer Self Enquiry Life Fellowship reserves the right to cancel any event at any time. In the instance an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified and offered the option of receiving a refund or credit toward a future event. While Self Enquiry Life Fellowship never anticipates cancelling an event, due to unforeseeable circumstances some events may be canceled.
