The Upcycling Competition, brought to you by SCAD Slow Fashion Club and Lite Foot Company, is a one-of-a-kind event that challenges contestants to create a complete look from non-donatable items. The competition will be held on April 15 at 3pm at The SCAD Museum of Arts. ContestantsOn April 7 all Contestants choose from a variety of non-donatable items, including clothing and textiles and have one week to create a complete look. Their designs will be showcased on the 15th via a Fashion Show. JudgingThe competition will be judged by a panel of experts in fashion and sustainability. The judges will be looking for creativity, originality, and sustainability in the contestants' designs. PrizesThe winners of the competition will receive prizes from SCAD SFC and Lite Foot Company. SpectatorsSpectators are welcome to attend the competition and cheer on their favorite contestants. TicketsTickets to the competition are Free but required in advance by April 14th at noon.
