First the Natural then the SpiritualThe whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs at twilight. They shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted on the fire; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs, they shall eat it. Ex 12:6-8 Fifteen hundred years later, the Lamb of Adonai, the Word of Elohim stepped into time and space to walk among us. The Apostle John said, "Behold the Lamb of Elohim that takes away the sin of the world." Jn 1:29 Adonai's Passover Lamb, Yeshua (Jesus) celebrated His final seder with His beloved disciples on that most eventful night that changed the destiny of humankind past, present, and future. In His final seder, He declared that He was fulfilling the Prophetic Promises of Genesis 3:15 and Jeremiah 31. What the Mosaic Covenant, sealed by the blood of goats and bulls, could not do because of the evil inclination of the human heart, Adonai brought about by sending His Son, the Messiah, Who accomplished it. Adonai's Living Word, the Torah, has not changed, but through Messiah in the believer, the Spirit writes the Torah on the tablets of human hearts. Through the finished work of the Last Adam, the Messiah restored the right of His Eternal Father to reclaim the Earth to achieve His Eternal Purpose to fill the Earth with the knowledge of the Glory of Adonai, as the Waters cover the sea.
