This free, 3-hour workshop covers the basics of preservation for a wide variety of formats that we all have in our family archives. Presented by the students and director of Ouachita Baptist University's Public History program, the workshop will cover things like the:
Preservation, handling and safe storage of paper documents, photographs and artifactsRecommended cleaning methods for paper and artifactsWhat to do with broken, torn or damaged documents, photographs and artifactsWorking with conservatorsAnd much, much more!
Registration is free, but is limited to 30 people. Boxed lunches will be served to workshop participants.
