Michigan Political Consulting (MPC), at the University of Michigan is a pro-bono, entirely student-run political consulting organization specializing in campaign, nonprofit, and PAC work– on local, state, and national levels. We are hosting our first ever speaker series and conference on April 1, in the Michigan League. Our speakers: Sarah Himes Greer- Senior Policy Consultant at Public Sector Consultants Sarah conducts research, analyzes, and writes reports on health and human services policy issues at the state and local levels. Andrea Lafontaine Andrea was an elected official in the Michigan State Legislature from 2010 to 2016. She currently works at Michigan trails and greenways alliance with a policy focus on natural resources and environment. She also teaches at CMU about elections and politics. Amy Harris Amy worked in project implementation at Chemonics International in the Latin American projects division. Did a lot of new business development in rural communities in Latin American countries working towards more sustainable economic development. Michael Bir Michael joined Majority Strategies in October of 2015. Since joining Majority Strategies, Bir has helped over 250 candidates win their elections for office and countless advocacy organizations achieve their goals. Bir has worked with a variety of clients including candidates for governor, Senate, Congress, state legislative seats, county-wide positions, and city-wide positions, to name a few.
