Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with staff from various career paths within PPP. Attendees may complete applications on site for the Probation and Parole Law Enforcement Officer position. However, attendees interested in taking the Nelson Denny are encouraged to apply before the event. The Nelson Denny Reading Comprehension test which will be offered on-site beginning at 12:30pm and only a select number of attendees will be tested so please come prepared. Please see information below to prepare. Necessary documents for the Nelson Denny: Applicants interested in applying for the position of Probation and Parole Law Enforcement Officer I, must then take the Department’s test focusing on reading comprehension and vocabulary. On the date of testing, applicants must bring a copy of the state application which includes the Probation and Parole Agent Checklist, certified college transcripts or high school diploma & DD -214 (if applicable), photo ID and Social Security Card to the designated test site.
